My name is Parker

I’m a certified personal trainer, and I run In Touch Health and Performance, a premier integrative healthcare service. I also produce and host a podcast called Exploring Health: Macro to Micro with Parker Condit.

I have been working in the personal training and healthcare fields for over 10 years. I’m passionate about helping people become healthier and happier through physical fitness, breath-work, and lifestyle changes as part of a comprehensive, personalized health plan. I specialize in sensitive, precise programming to improve physical and mental performance, a skill I honed working with elite athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, LPGA Tour, PGA Tour and former Olympians.

I also have a passion for working with clients from a range of other backgrounds, especially those with persistent pain. The aging process, starting in our late 20s, accelerates as we get older and evidence based, exercise and lifestyle plans are essential to staying out of the doctor's office and having the confidence and energy to live life on your own terms as you grow older.

​As a former executive in the healthcare industry, I’ve seen firsthand where the healthcare system fails and what you will need to do in order to stay healthy and thrive as you age.

 

This experience also gave me the opportunity to see the importance of coordination of care and how vital it is to your overall health. I can help coordinate with your existing providers to make sure that we are all collectively helping you work towards your health-related goals.

Beyond the guidance and coaching to help you achieve your health goals, my job is to help you reconnect with yourself and the natural world around you. We have become increasingly disconnected from so much of what makes us human. We live behind screens and rely on devices to tell us how we should feel via a sleep score or recovery number. Our society is now constructed on constant distractions, instant gratification, quick dopamine hits, social isolation, and separateness from the infinite beauty of nature.

​And because of that, we’ve lost touch with the innate intelligence that lies within us. However, we can recapture that magic and take steps to start getting back in touch with our truest nature. Learning to harness the power of our breath is a vital first step to becoming more interoceptive.​

Interoception is the ability to be aware of internal sensations in the body, including heart rate, respiration, hunger, fullness, temperature, and pain, as well as emotion sensations.

The more you can sense and be aware of what is happening within your body, the better you become at monitoring your health in real-time. You become empowered, knowledgeable, and a much more active participant in your own health journey. I help give you the tools, but ultimately it's you who will be the steward of your own health.
